Dr. Asad Javed began their work experience in 2013 as a Research Internee at COMSATS University, where they worked for a month. In 2013, they also worked as a Technical Support (Networks) at Mobizone Pakistan, where they configured and administered Linux servers and provided troubleshooting support. From 2016 to 2022, Dr. Javed worked at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, initially as a Research Engineer conducting research on Linux containers and container management. Dr. Asad then pursued their PhD in IoT, focusing on the implementation of scalable and fault-tolerant IoT applications on edge-cloud computing. During this time, they worked with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Kafka for distributed applications. In 2021, Dr. Javed joined Basemark as a DevOps Engineer.

Dr. Asad Javed has an extensive education history in the field of computer engineering and embedded systems. Dr. Asad obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

Afterwards, they pursued their Master's Degree in Embedded Systems, first at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2015, and then at Aalto University from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they pursued a Master's Degree in ICT Innovation (Embedded Systems) at EIT Digital Alumni from 2014 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Javed has obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in February 2019. Dr. Asad has also achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
