Justin Lopas currently serves as COO and Co-Founder of Base Power Company, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Manufacturing at Anduril Industries from May 2020 to August 2023, where Justin led a cross-functional team of over 150 members focused on advanced defense systems. Additionally, Justin spent nearly four years at SpaceX, initially as Lead Engineer for Starship Manufacturing and later as Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Falcon Thrust Structures. Early in the career, Justin held various internships, including roles at Apple, Baker Hughes, and SpaceX, contributing to projects related to manufacturing, engineering, and software analysis. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where involvement included leadership as Team Captain of Michigan Baja Racing.
