Gal Biran has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Gal is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Base - Customer Led Growth since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Marketing and Go-to-Market Mentor from 2014 to 2018, where they mentored startups on marketing and go-to-market strategies.
Before Google, Gal Biran founded ChannelSmart Ltd. in 2013, a boutique service agency specializing in channel development and B2B marketing. Gal also served as the Founder of ChannelSmart, where they provided consultancy services and technology for channel, sales, and marketing automation.
In 2007, Biran worked at Microsoft as a Business Development Manager in the OEM division, where they managed OEM products and partners. Gal also worked at Alvarion, where they held various roles including VP, Head of Global Channel Business and Professional Services Business Development Manager.
Other notable positions in their work history include being a VP of Sales & Marketing at Cellact, where they led significant growth in sales and developed partnerships and distribution channels. Gal was also an Account Manager at Commerce.Net and an Account and Project Manager at Mashovit.
Furthermore, Gal Biran served as an Advisory Board Member for Israel Export Institute from 2017 to 2018, where they contributed to creating better ways for companies to go global and leverage the institute for success.
Gal Biran attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Gal later pursued further education at the College of Management from 2007 to 2008, where they completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Marketing. In the same year, they also completed a Master of Science (MSC) degree in Marketing at Baruch College.
