Galen Hoffman is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in photonics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Principal Photonics Engineer at Bascom Hunter since January 2024, Galen previously worked as a Photonics Engineer at GXC from December 2021 to December 2023, focusing on integrated photonics. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from January 2018 to December 2021, and as Senior Process Engineer at Intel Corporation between January 2012 and November 2015, where expertise in design of experiments, statistical process control, and automatic process control was applied to enhance microprocessor production. Galen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Ohio State University, obtained in December 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the same institution, earned in June 2007.
