Jay Lam has been working as a Software Engineer for Barti since 2022. Prior to that, they were employed as an EHR Application Coordinator for North East Medical Services from 2019.

Jay Lam attended San Jose State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2021, they attended App Academy for further study in Computer Science.
