Christophe Vermeire is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades in project management and research and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager Project Engineering at Barry Callebaut Group since March 2017, Christophe previously held the position of Senior Manager Engineering at Coca-Cola European Partners, overseeing engineering and maintenance for the Gent plant. Prior roles include Project Manager at Bekina NV, where Christophe successfully filed a EU Horizon 2020 SME-project application, and R&D Manager positions at Grada International and Recticel, managing teams and developing innovative products in various technology sectors. Early career experience includes roles as Project Engineer at VCR VAN CAUWENBERGH and Technical-Commercial Support Engineer at MMB Machines. Christophe holds an engineering degree in Mechanics from Ghent University and has further education from EHSAL Management School.
