Nic Coomson, FAusIMM, has extensive experience in mining operations and planning, currently serving as Operations Manager at Barrick Gold Corporation for the Lumwana Copper Mine since January 2019. Prior to this, Nic held multiple roles at Randgold Resources Ltd, including Chief Mine Planner and Senior Strategic Mine Planner from July 2011 to December 2018. Additionally, Nic worked at AngloGold Ashanti from August 2005 to July 2011 as Mine Planning Superintendent, Senior Planning Engineer, and Mining Engineer. Nic completed a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology from 2000 to 2004.
