Tyler Olsen, PE, is a Water Resources Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since January 2018. Previously, Tyler served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from February 2014 to August 2017, where research focused on phosphate dynamics in urban stormwater ponds, culminating in a thesis publication titled "Phosphorus Dynamics in Stormwater Ponds." Tyler also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant supporting Professor John S. Gulliver's team. Between January 2014 and January 2016, Tyler was the Project Manager for the Engineers Without Borders-USA, University of Minnesota chapter, leading a student team on a project in Kalisizo, Uganda. Additionally, Tyler gained experience as an Environmental Engineering Intern at LimnoTech from May 2014 to August 2015, contributing to various water resources projects. Tyler holds a Master of Science in Civil (Water Resources) Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
