Sara Leow is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since August 2010, with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering. Previous roles include Geotechnical Engineer at American Engineering Testing, Inc. from December 2005 to August 2010, Geotechnical Field Engineer at Soil and Materials Engineers, Inc. for a brief period in mid-2005, and Engineering Intern with the Federal Highway Administration in the summers of 2003 and 2004. Additionally, Sara served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the Civil Engineering Department, teaching courses in Geotechnical Design and Advanced Foundation Design in 2018 and 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical Emphasis and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Michigan Technological University.
