Aron Cory's work experience begins in 2007 with their role as a Nutrition Consultant at Nestlé Purina North America. Aron provided customer service and resolved issues related to nutrition and reproduction for dairy and poultry. In 2009, Aron worked as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Saskatchewan before progressing to become a PhD Candidate in the Molecular Crop Quality laboratory. Aron focused on deciphering the synthesis pathway of beta-glucans in barley grains. Following their PhD, Aron worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Wheat Genome lab, where they studied the effect of DNA methylation on polyploid genomes. In 2019, they became an Agriculture Technology Consultant, specializing in genomics, technology, and robotics. Aron then held roles at Clip 'n Climb as Co-Owner and Managing Director and later at Vertical Universes as the Chief Operating Officer. Aron's most recent positions include Research Manager at IDC and their current role as the Director of Academic and Commercial Integration at Barnstorm Agtech, Inc.
Aron Cory began their education at the University of Saskatchewan, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they attended the Université de Montréal from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Science degree in Reproductive Biology. Notably, they subsequently returned to the University of Saskatchewan, where they completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Sciences from 2010 to 2015.
