Stephen Cox, CPA, currently serves as Senior Tax Manager at Barnes Wendling CPAs, where responsibilities include preparing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, S-corporations, estates, and trusts, as well as handling Ohio commercial activity tax returns and various bookkeeping tasks. Stephen's professional journey includes roles as Tax Manager, Senior Accountant, Advanced Staff Accountant, and Staff Accountant at Barnes Wendling CPAs since June 2016. Prior experience includes positions as a Peer Tutor at Ashland University, where effective communication and time management skills were developed, and as an Accounting Intern at eCollect, LLC, involved in generating journal entries and preparing reports. In addition to tax preparation, Stephen has experience in auditing and client relations gained through a previous internship at Barnes Wendling CPAs. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ashland University, earned from 2012 to 2016.
