Cynthia Yang is an experienced leader in event management and organizational strategy, currently serving as the Associate Vice President and Special Advisor to the President at Barnard College since July 2018. In this role, Cynthia oversees the Events Management department and Auxiliary Services, enhancing operational efficiency across mail services, print services, and real estate. Previously, Cynthia held various positions at Barnard College, including Assistant Vice President, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Associate Director of Special Events, where significant contributions included managing Barnard's COVID-19 response and producing high-profile events to engage donors and alumnae. Prior experience as an Event Producer at Great Performances involved planning and executing numerous high-end events and international trips. Cynthia earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College in 2002.
