Melody Z. has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2020. That year, they worked as a Freelance Social Media Manager for Barn & Willow, VP of Marketing and Consultant for Cornell Marketing, and a Summer Intern for SAPAR Contemporary. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Intern for Burma Food Group, and in 2022 they worked as a Corporate and Digital Communications Intern for Regeneron. Additionally, in 2020 they were a Social Media Intern for Blue Stars Admissions Consulting.

Melody Z. graduated from Menlo School in 2019 with a High School Diploma. Melody then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in Fine Arts at Cornell University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
