Precious Garrick has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles at multiple companies. Precious began their career at First Global Bank Limited in 2001 as a Senior Accounting Clerk/Investment Custodian before becoming a Senior Accounting Officer. In 2005, they joined First Global Financial Services as a Senior Accountant, where they worked for nine years. In 2014, Precious moved to PROVEN and served as an Accounting Manager for three years before being promoted to Head of Pensions and Fund Accounting. Precious then joined Barita Investments Limited in 2019 as an Assistant Vice President in Fund Operations, where they currently work.

Precious Garrick holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Technology. In addition, they have a Certificate in Certified Accounting Technician from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and a Diploma in Accounting and Management Studies from DUFF's Business College.

Precious has also obtained some additional certifications. In 2012, they received a Certificate in Pensions Management Course from Fitz Ritson and Associates. Furthermore, in 2003, they attained a Certificate in Jamaican Securities Course from JIM School of Advanced Management.
