Wei Zhen Teo is a seasoned financial professional with extensive expertise in client portfolio management and alternative investments. Currently serving as a Client Portfolio Manager for Private Credit at Barings since November 2022, Wei Zhen Teo leads sales and engagement with institutional and wealth clients across the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, during a tenure at Credit Suisse from May 2018 to November 2022, Wei Zhen Teo significantly influenced the sales and advisory processes for alternative fund solutions. Prior to that, Wei Zhen Teo held a key role at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, focusing on the selection and due diligence of external fund managers and strategies, while also contributing to portfolio construction and developing the bank's ESG investing policy. Wei Zhen Teo's career began as a Financial Analyst at the Accountant General's Department, with responsibilities that included optimizing financial asset management and advising government agencies. Wei Zhen Teo holds a Master of Science in Wealth Management and a Bachelor of Accountancy with double majors in accountancy and law from Singapore Management University.
