Colm Deasy has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Colm began their career as a Student Engineer at PepsiCo before moving on to work as an Automation & Project Engineer at Nypro, where they managed projects to improve production efficiency. Colm later joined Bausch + Lomb as an Automation Engineer, where they oversaw cost-saving and automation projects and provided technical support to the production department. Colm then served as a Maintenance Manager at Bulmers, responsible for maintaining production lines. Colm subsequently joined C&C Group as a Project Manager, successfully leading a project to relocate a bottling production line. After this, they worked in an interim role as both Packaging Manager and SHE Manager. Colm then joined Princes Limited as an Engineering Manager, leading a team of 18 and maintaining production lines while overseeing the facility's maintenance and effluent plant. Currently, Colm is the Head of Engineering at Barfoots of Botley Ltd.
Colm Deasy attended Munster Technological University from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they obtained a 2.1 degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
