Mark began their career in 2002 at Central National Bank, where they served as Vice President and played an instrumental role in expanding the bank into a new market. Mark conducted market research, prospecting, and actively managed employees.

In 2006, Sedlak joined Commerce Bank as a Regional Loan Officer, focusing on business development and analysis of credit and financial information. Mark cross-sold banking products and services to meet customers' needs.

Following this, Sedlak worked at M&I Bank as a Business Banking professional from 2007 to 2009.
