Maria-Ribera Sancho serves as the Manager of Education and Training at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since March 2012, while also holding the positions of President, Vice President, and Chair of the Accreditation Committee at EQANIE since November 2017. At Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Maria-Ribera has contributed as a Professora in the Faculty of Computer Science and has served in various leadership roles, including Dean and Vice-dean. Additionally, Maria-Ribera is an Honorary Member and President of CODDII, and was an Executive Committee Member for ACM-W Europe from November 2019 to April 2023. As a leader in accreditation, Maria-Ribera presided over the Accreditation Committee of the Euro-Inf label at ANECA from September 2017 to May 2022. Maria-Ribera holds a PhD in Informatics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution, completed between 1982 and 1987.
