Marija Sološenko has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Marija is currently working as the Head of Commerce at Barbora Latvija since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of Ltd. Dabas burka, where they successfully set up and launched a zero waste concept shop in the Baltic States and an e-commerce shop from February 2018 to March 2023.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Marija worked at the State Audit Office of the Republic of Latvia from March 2014 to December 2018. Marija held the position of Head of International Cooperation Division, where they managed cooperation with international organizations and Supreme Audit Institutions, organized international events, and facilitated the sustainable development of public audit. Marija also worked as a Senior International relations specialist at the same organization, actively participating in international cooperation activities from March 2014 to August 2016.

Marija's previous experience includes working as a Project Coordinator and Clinical Trials Assistant at Quintiles from November 2012 to March 2014 and from March 2011 to November 2012, respectively. Marija was responsible for project documentation, tracking project finance, updating internal systems, and auditing files and data.

Prior to their time at Quintiles, Marija worked as a Marketing Manager at Lursoft Ltd. from June 2010 to March 2011, where they focused on B2B sales of IT products and executed marketing projects. Marija also gained experience as a Marketing Assistant at Veiters from January 2009 to June 2010.

Marija Sološenko's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled in Biznesa augstskola Turība for their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Marija completed their Bachelor's degree in 2011. In 2011-2012, Marija attended the BA School of Business and Finance, where they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Management. Moving ahead to 2015, they attended the International Centre for Information Systems & Audit for a short period to study Performance Audit. In 2019-2020, Marija returned to Biznesa augstskola Turība to further their education, this time in the field of Digital Marketing. Lastly, in 2021, they attended Magnetic Professional to study Business project management with Agile and Scrum, although no specific degree was mentioned.
