Mayra Duran is a skilled language professional with extensive experience in translation and interpretation. Currently serving as a VIT Program Assistant at Casa Cornelia Law Center since December 2022, Mayra also holds roles as a Translator with TED Translators and a Spanish Interpreter with Barbier International, Inc., both beginning in June 2022. Prior to these positions, Mayra worked as an Enrollment Service Representative at Maximus from December 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities included client communication regarding enrollment programs. Mayra's earlier experience as a Spanish Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions from June to November 2021 involved facilitating communication for individuals with limited English proficiency. Mayra Duran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation and Interpretation from California State University, Northridge, earned in May 2023, as well as an Associate's degree in Spanish and French Language and Literature from Southwestern Community College District, completed in 2020.
