Berenice van Gessel has a wide range of work experience, beginning with an internship at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in 2011. Berenice then worked as a Spring Analyst at Nomura in 2011, followed by roles as an Analyst and Associate at Nomura from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they also worked as an Independent Investment Advisor from 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served in various roles at Uber, including Head of Belgium (interim) | Rides Northern Europe, Head of Marketplace Central Operations | JUMP EMEA, Senior Operations Manager | Rides Benelux, and Operations Manager | Rides Netherlands. Currently, they are Co-Founder & COO at BAQME.

Berenice van Gessel's education history includes five institutions. From 1999 to 2005, they attended Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum, where they studied Economie & Maatschappij. In 2005-2006, they attended Anglia Ruskin University and earned a Certificate of Proficiency in English and studied Photography. From 2006 to 2010, they attended University of Groningen, where they earned a Bsc in International Business & Management. In 2009-2010, they attended University of Melbourne to study Finance. Finally, from 2010 to 2011, they attended University of Groningen and earned an Msc in Finance.
