Miguel Ortega-Mier has extensive experience in academia and entrepreneurship, currently serving as the Coordinator of the Doctorado de Ingenier¨ªa de Organizaci¨®n PhD program and as an Associate Professor at Universidad Polit¨¦cnica de Madrid since December 2004. In addition to overseeing the Grado de Ingenier¨ªa de Organizaci¨®n undergraduate program and leading the Department of Organizational Engineering, Business Administration, and Statistics, Miguel also has expertise in Operations Research, Operations Management, Simulation, and Network Science. As the Founder of baobab soluciones since July 2011, Miguel combines practical industry experience with an academic foundation comprising a PhD and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Polit¨¦cnica de Madrid. Previous positions include Professor at CEPADE and Teaching Assistant Professor at University Carlos III of Madrid, along with teaching experience at Ciudad Joven.
