Malini Patel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic empowerment and gender equality initiatives. Currently serving as Principal Associate at Banyan Global since August 2018, Malini leads strategy development for the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Practice and oversees various advisory programs funded by USAID and MCC. Previous roles include Chief of Party for the Women's Economic Empowerment Community of Practice and Technical Assistance, where Malini managed extensive community efforts and developed essential resources. Prior to this, Malini held leadership positions at Vital Voices Global Partnership, Global Communities, and the Peace Corps, demonstrating a consistent commitment to empowering women and communities through comprehensive development programs. Malini holds an MPA in Non-Profit Management from New York University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
