Alejandro Urbina has a diverse work experience in finance and economics. Alejandro began their career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Associate Economist. Alejandro then worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Senior Capital Markets Analyst before joining Banc One Capital Markets as an Associate Director for International Economist and Currency Strategist. Alejandro then moved on to UBS Global Asset Management as a Director and Portfolio Manager. After that, they worked at Silva Capital Management LLC as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. Most recently, Alejandro has been working at BankIowa as the Director of Business Intelligence and Finance.
Alejandro Urbina completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration at The University of Texas at Austin in 1994. Alejandro then pursued a Master's degree in International Financial Policy at The University of Chicago - Harris School of Public Policy from an unspecified start year until 1996. In 2002, Alejandro obtained their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in Finance, Economics, and International Business. Currently, they are enrolled at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and is expected to complete their degree in 2022. Additionally, Alejandro is also pursuing an Executive Leadership Certificate from The Wharton School, with an expected completion date in 2022.
