Per Wagner Nielsen is a data scientist at BankInvest since January 2023, with a strong background in software development and economics. Previous roles include software developer at Moneyflow, senior software developer at Magnetic Asia Ltd, and founder of location-based application Lazinda. Nielsen has also held managerial positions, including software development manager at CompareGlobalGroup and FunctionEight Ltd., where responsibilities included team leadership and stakeholder engagement. Early experience as an economist at the European Commission and the Association of Local Banks involved economic analysis and development of statistical models. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science from The Open University of Hong Kong and a Master's in Economics from Syddansk Universitet.
