Matthew Myers is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and litigation. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Bankers Trust since April 2019, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to this role, Matthew operated a solo practice, successfully litigating a tort case leading to a $3.8 million jury award and handling various business-related contracts and employment claims. As General Counsel at Unite Private Networks from January 2012 to January 2016, Matthew oversaw all legal matters for the company, collaborated with executive leadership on business strategy, and managed compliance issues and major contract negotiations. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University.
