Senior Vice President Of Human Resources at Bank Policy Institute

Kristina Asifo has a strong background in human resources and has held various roles throughout their career. Kristina began in 2011 as a Human Resources Assistant at the Melwood Horticultural Training Center, where they assisted with benefits administration, reporting, and onboarding processes. From 2013 to 2017, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Catholic Charities USA, where they managed HR functions for a large non-profit organization. In 2017, Kristina joined Andrews Federal Credit Union as a Human Resources & Special Projects professional, where they implemented HR programs and completed special projects. Kristina also became the Managing Partner at Pot Luck Solutions, LLC, in the same year. Recently, Kristina has been working at the Bank Policy Institute since 2019, where they have held roles as an Associate Vice President and Vice President of Human Resources. In these positions, they have managed HR functions, benefit programs, payroll, HRIS systems, onboarding/off-boarding processes, compliance, employee relations, and the recruitment lifecycle. Kristina has also administered HR policies, performance and compensation, and new hire orientation.

Kristina Asifo pursued their Bachelor's degree in Health Systems Management from George Mason University, which they successfully completed from 2000 to 2004. In 2017, they furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management.
