James Kayongo is a skilled cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in both analytical and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Senior Security Analyst at the Bank of Uganda since December 2012, James Kayongo oversees the governance of enterprise cybersecurity, focusing on protection, detection, response, and recovery. Previously, as a Security Analyst, responsibilities included identifying security risks and developing protective strategies. Prior experience at the Uganda Revenue Authority from August 2009 to November 2012 involved managing system networks, identity and access management, and infrastructure architecture. James Kayongo holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Makerere University.
