Haggay Etkes is a seasoned economist and researcher with extensive experience in economic relations, particularly between Israeli and Palestinian economies. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the Bank of Israel since October 2022 and a Senior Research Fellow at INSS since October 2021, Haggay previously held positions including Senior Researcher and Head of BOI activities vis-Ã -vis The Palestinian Authority at the Bank of Israel, and Representative of Israel at the IMF Board. Haggay's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, complemented by advanced degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and Economics from Tel Aviv University and LSE. Additionally, Haggay has held lecturer and adjunct positions at prominent universities, teaching courses on labor markets and economic history.
