Chris Potts has extensive experience in risk management and banking, currently serving as a Senior Risk Specialist in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) at the Bank of England since June 2014. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Deloitte UK from June 2012 to June 2014 as a Manager in Banking and Capital Markets, and earlier at Standard Chartered Bank from August 2008 to May 2012 in various capacities including Analyst in Capital Optimisation. Chris began professional development as a Summer Intern with the Global Facilitation Network for Security Sector Reform in 2007. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Economics with Spanish and an MA in International Political Economy of Development from the University of Birmingham, along with certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants completed between 2008 and 2011.
