Debra Purrington is an experienced fiduciary and legal professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Purrington serves as Chief Fiduciary and Bank Legal Counsel - Internal at Bank of Clarke since July 2021. Prior roles include Director of Trust Services and Corporate Counsel at The Fauquier Bank from 2019 to 2021, and Founder of Trustee Services at Bulkley Richardson from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Purrington held the position of Market Trust Executive at U.S. Trust from 2004 to 2014. Purrington's expertise encompasses fiduciary matters, legal oversight, and trust administration, with notable achievements including receipt of Fiduciary Excellence Awards and membership in national fiduciary governance committees.
