Klaus Tay is an experienced banking professional with a career spanning over two decades in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Head of the Singapore Representative Office at BIBD Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam since May 2015, Klaus focuses on enhancing brand awareness and developing relationships with financial institutions and corporations across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this role, Klaus held various senior positions at OCBC Bank from May 1997 to April 2015, including Senior Trade Manager and FI Trade Business Development Head. Klaus began the professional journey as a Senior Marketing Executive at China Singapore Suzhou Development Co., Ltd. from 1994 to 1997. Klaus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore, attained between 1991 and 1994, and completed studies at Nanyang Junior College in 1988.
