Thomas Escobar has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Thomas started their career as an Accounts Payable Specialist and Administrative Assistant at Amcon Inc. in 2005. Later, they worked as an Accreditation Coordinator and Beneficiary Manager at Ruesch International in 2007.
In 2008, Thomas joined Avalon English as an English Teacher for a short period. Thomas then transitioned to Sip of Seattle in 1997, where they served as an Accountant responsible for AP/AR and bookkeeping. During their tenure, they implemented cost-saving measures, drafted accounting policies, and prepared annual reports.
Thomas joined Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union in 2010 and held various roles, including Member Services Representative, Online Account Opening Representative, Funds Transfer Processor, and Funds Transfer Representative. Thomas excelled in resolving customer issues, surpassing production expectations, drafting policies and procedures, creating training guidelines, and implementing efficient verification processes.
Throughout their career, Thomas demonstrated strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information. Thomas is also known for their effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Thomas Escobar attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business. In 2017, they obtained two certifications from Callahan & Associates, namely, the Peer-to-Peer Advanced Certification and the Peer-to-Peer Associate Certification.
