Cecilia Skingsley currently serves as the Head of the BIS Innovation Hub at the Bank for International Settlements since September 2022. Prior to this role, Cecilia held the position of Deputy Governor at Sveriges Riksbank from May 2013 to August 2022, where Cecilia was the first deputy governor from 2019 to 2022. Cecilia's earlier career includes leadership as Head of Fixed Income & FX Research at Swedbank Markets, and experience as a financial journalist at Dagens Industri. Additionally, Cecilia worked as a Macro Analyst at ABN AMRO and served as a Press Secretary at the Swedish Ministry of Finance. Educational credentials include a degree as a Diplomerad finansanalytiker from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Stockholm University.
