Tony Linnane has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Prior to Bank First, Tony held leadership positions at National Australia Bank (NAB) from 2016 to 2022. Tony served as the Head of Everyday Banking, Personal Bank, overseeing the strategic direction of NAB's credit card product suite and negotiating major loyalty partnership agreements. Tony also led the development and delivery of NAB StraightUp, a new product. Tony's accomplishments at NAB included successful renegotiation of major commercial partnership agreements and reshaping of the NAB Credit Card product suite.

Before joining NAB, Tony worked at MasterCard as a Senior Account Manager from 2014 to 2015. Tony also had a long tenure at ANZ, starting in 2000, where they held multiple roles including Project Director for Major Projects Australia, Senior Manager of Deposits Portfolio Management, Head of Portfolio Management and New Product for Cards, and Senior Manager of Group Strategic Development. At ANZ, Tony led M&A projects, managed strategic development initiatives, and played a key role in a $4 billion rights issue for the acquisition of NBNZ.

Tony started their career at National Australia Bank in 1995, where they worked in Capital Management. Prior to that, they worked as an Actuarial Analyst at Towers Perrin from 1993 to 1995.

Tony Linnane obtained a Graduate Diploma of Actuarial Techniques from the Institute of Actuaries London between 1993 and 1996. Tony also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from Monash University between 1988 and 1990.
