Rafik NASHI is an accomplished economist and data analyst with experience in both the public and financial sectors. Currently serving as an Economist in the External Accounts unit at Bank Al-Maghrib since May 2021, Rafik NASHI focuses on the analysis, modeling, and forecasting of balance of payments components related to monetary policy decisions, as well as studying the implications of exchange rate policies on the external balance of the country. Previously, Rafik NASHI held positions as a Statistician, Data Analyst, and Economist at the Ministère de l'économie et des Finances, where responsibilities included data processing for economic modeling and a published study on big data applications in economic analysis. Rafik NASHI has also completed internships at Bank Al-Maghrib and the Ministère de l'économie et des Finances, focusing on exchange rate regimes and foreign trade potential. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Statistics from the Institut National de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Mohammed V University in Rabat.
