Brendon Hopkins serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Bank ABC since May 2014, with global responsibilities in Finance, Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations, Balance Sheet Management, and Taxation, aiming to establish Bank ABC as a leading universal bank in the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to this role, Brendon held various significant positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including Group Head of Strategy for the Western Hemisphere from 2009 to 2013 and Chief Executive Officer for Europe from 1995 to 2008, overseeing approximately 2000 staff across 20 countries. Brendon also contributed as the Group Head of Taxation and has a background in finance, strategy, and project management from Guardian Royal Exchange and Deloitte. Academically, Brendon holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham.
