Lindsay Jones

Head Of TNE Operations at Bangor University

Lindsay Jones has a strong background in academic and administrative roles within various universities. Lindsay started their career as a Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Research Assistant at University College Cork in 2001. Afterwards, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at The University of the Pacific, California, USA in 2003. In 2004, they joined Manchester Business School Worldwide as an Academic Administrator. Lindsay then moved to Bangor University, where they held several positions including Innovation Officer from 2007 to 2012, Head of Technology Transfer & Commercialization from 2012 to 2015, and International Partnerships from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Lindsay is the Planning Officer at Bangor University, where they are responsible for financial modeling, business case development for TNE partnerships, and providing support for the university planning round and other strategic initiatives. Additionally, they have recently been appointed as the Head of TNE Operations, beginning in September 2023.

Lindsay Jones received a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology from Nottingham Trent University from 1992 to 1996. They then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrophysiology from Radboud University in 1996. Lindsay later completed a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, from 1997 to 2000.
