Rie Konecny is an experienced professional in licensing operations and content management, currently serving as the Associate Licensing Operations Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America since May 2022. In this role, Rie supports licensors and licensees on various well-known projects, including PAC-MAN and ELDEN RING, and oversees the approval process while engaging with partners and headquarters in Japan. Prior to this, Rie worked as a Localization Producer at Sony from January 2019 to April 2022, where responsibilities included localizing popular Japanese titles, producing English dubs, and managing the release of Blu-ray products. Rie's earlier roles included positions at Hulu and TV Japan, focusing on project management and content operations. Rie holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Toyo University.
