Alfredo Gomes dos Santos

Tech Lead Java at Banco Next

Alfredo Gomes dos Santos has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Alfredo started their career at IBM in 2005, where they led a team of five Analysts in a large-scale project focused on customer retention. Alfredo analyzed, specified, developed, and tested the project, which aimed to offer products and advantages to prevent customers from switching telecommunication providers.

In 2007, Alfredo joined Accenture as an experienced Systems Analyst. Alfredo worked on projects for clients such as Telefônica, Santander, Carrefour, and Bradesco. Alfredo proactively contributed to high-platform systems in terms of analysis, development, and testing. Alfredo successfully delivered numerous complex projects within tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Alfredo then joined Itau in 2010 as a Systems Analyst, where they managed projects and implemented action plans to improve system performance in the customer registration area. Alfredo contributed to the MDM (Master Data Management) system using Cobol, DB2, JCL, Control-M Batch, and InfoSphere DataStage technologies. Additionally, they played a role in analyzing, specifying, and developing solutions for the unique customer registration area.

In 2016, Alfredo worked in two different companies. At Geru, they served as a Projects and Systems Development Consultant, managing SCRUM projects and analyzing and developing a credit decision parameterization system. Alfredo utilized technologies such as Angular 2, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, Node, Vertx, Maven, Java, and MongoDB.

Simultaneously, Alfredo joined Yaman as a Systems Analyst, where they focused on Java systems analysis and development.

Since 2017, Alfredo has been working at Serasa Experian as a Java Systems Analyst. Alfredo is currently leading an effort to implement CrossCore Middleware Mappers. Alfredo collaborates with global teams based in Scottsdale and Sofia to plan and streamline the software development life cycle. Alfredo'sresponsibilities also include identifying business requirements and designing and developing the Mappers to integrate and deliver FraudAlert and Serasa FraudScore offerings via CrossCore.

Most recently, Alfredo joined Banco Next in 2021 as a Tech lead Java, where they are responsible for leading Java technology projects.

Alfredo Gomes dos Santos completed their education at various institutions. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued an MBA in Gerenciamento de Negocios e Projetos (Business Administration and Management, General and PMI) at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Sistema de informação (Information Systems) from Universidade Ibirapuera. In addition to their formal education, Alfredo also obtained the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) in March 2019 from CertiProf.
