Pedro Marroquin is a seasoned professional in the banking and technology sectors with extensive experience in operations, infrastructure, and innovation. Currently serving as Gerente de Infraestructura y Operaciones Tecnol贸gicas at Banco GyT Continental since October 2021, Pedro previously held key positions at Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala, including Gerente de Operaciones / Servicios para los Clientes from June 2017 to September 2021, where responsibilities spanned all operational areas and transactional channels. From 2012 to 2017, Pedro was Gerente de Sistemas y Tecnolog铆a, overseeing technology and innovation for the financial group. Additional roles include Gerente de Innovaci贸n Tecnol贸gica and Subgerente de Desarrollo de Sistemas at BAM, along with earlier positions at SIECA and Banco Continental. Pedro holds a Master's degree in Finance from Universidad Rafael Land铆var and a degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
