Josue Gomez is the Gerente de Ciberseguridad at Banco GyT Continental, overseeing cybersecurity defense activities under the Technology Vice Presidency since November 2023. With extensive experience in information systems auditing as a Catedratico titular at Universidad Rafael Landívar, Josue has held various roles in cybersecurity and IT management, including R-SOC Manager at Millicom (Tigo) and Manager of Managed Services & Support at TIGO Business Guatemala. Previous positions include Gerente de Servicios Administrados at Tigo Guatemala and Gerente SOC Centroamerica at Widefense. Josue's educational background includes an MBA from EUDE Business School and certifications in project management and ISO/IEC 27035 Lead Incident Manager, complemented by a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
