Pedro Tomaz has extensive experience in internal audit and risk management within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of Processes Internal Audit at Banco CTT since December 2017, Pedro previously held the position of Internal Audit Manager. Prior to that, Pedro worked at Banco Finantia as Deputy Director of the Internal Audit Department, and at NOVO BANCO as an Internal Auditor, where responsibilities included risk identification, control evaluation, and audit report development. Additional roles included Corporate Credit Risk Analyst and Internal Auditor positions at Santander Portugal. Pedro initiated professional experience as an IT Asset Manager at PT Sistemas de Informação, following a summer internship at Deutsche Bank. Educational qualifications include a degree in Economics from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, with further studies at Universitat de Barcelona and Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
