Cate Ejjed has extensive experience in finance and administration. From 2008 to the present, they worked as the Director of Finance and Administration at BANANAS, Inc., where they provided financial support to various departments and managed a budget of $27 million. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2008, they held a similar role at the Stern Grove Festival Association, overseeing a $1.6 million operating budget and $20 million capital and endowment campaign budget. In 2001, they worked as an Office Manager at PBA Galleries, providing support to the executive team. From 1997 to 1999, they served as an Office Manager at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, where they handled finance, fundraising, and database management.
Cate Ejjed has a comprehensive education history. Cate began their college education at the University of San Francisco in 1988, pursuing coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. After completing two years at the University of San Francisco, they transferred to San Francisco State University in 1990. At San Francisco State University, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography with an emphasis in City Planning & Urban Studies, which they completed in 1993. Later, in 2005, Cate pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University, which they successfully completed in 2007.
