Franz Hoerhager has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2019. Franz began their career as a Summer Intern at Die Presse in 2008. In 2009, they served as a Gefreiter in the Oesterreichisches Bundesheer. Franz then worked as a Capital Markets Origination Summer Analyst at Citi in 2010, followed by a role as a Merchant Banking Division Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in 2011. Franz then joined Rocket Internet GmbH - Payleven as a Venture Development team member in 2012. Also in 2012, Franz started working at Macquarie Group, initially as an MIRA Executive and later as an MIRA Manager until 2017. In 2018, they became a Co-Founder at bambus.io and in 2019, Franz became a Board Member at ready2order.

Franz Hoerhager completed their Bachelor of Science in Finance at The Wharton School from 2007 to 2012. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Before attending university, Franz obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma from the American International School in Vienna. Franz'sdiploma included coursework in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, German, English, and French. Additionally, in February 2005, Franz obtained a certification as a Skilehrer Anwaerter from the Tiroler Skilehrerverband.
