Shannon Hord serves as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Bamboo Health, leading a team of over 160 engineers in the development of high-volume, cloud-native SaaS products aimed at addressing substance abuse disorder and behavioral health issues. Prior experience includes roles at Humana, where Shannon held multiple positions such as Senior Director of Software Engineering and Strategic Consultant, overseeing technology portfolios and contributing to the organizationā€™s transition towards integrated care. Additional experience encompasses positions as an Enterprise Architect and Applications Architect at Humana, and earlier roles at Software Information Systems and Morehead State University, where foundational skills in software development were established. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Morehead State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
