Uro L. is an experienced Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities since July 2022, focusing on Alt Data Alpha. Prior to this role, Uro served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, contributing to a project on revenue-maximizing auctions accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro also held leadership as Co-President of the Smith Investment Fund, engaging in systematic strategy research, and completed multiple internships at Facebook, focusing on software engineering in areas such as civic integrity and question answering. Additionally, Uro interned in quantitative research at Millennium Management LLC, investigating systematic VIX and options strategies. Uro's academic background includes a degree from the University of Maryland and attendance at the Montgomery Blair High School Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program.
