Janine George currently serves as a Permanent Researcher and Junior Group Leader at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung since May 2021, focusing on the design and search of new materials using ab initio and high-throughput computations. Additionally, Janine is a Professor of Materials Informatics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena since September 2023. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université catholique de Louvain from January 2018 to April 2021, and PhD Researcher at RWTH Aachen University from April 2013 to December 2017. Academic qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, all obtained from RWTH Aachen University, supplemented by Abitur from Oberstufengymnasium Schloss Hansenberg.
