Claire Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In their most recent position as Co-Founder and CEO at Baltic Ventures, a pre-seed tech accelerator, they support early-stage tech businesses with global ambitions. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Claire Lewis Consulting, where they provided consulting services for projects such as advising the University of Manchester and conducting published research for clients. Claire also held the role of Ventures Director at Co-op and served as a Tech Advisor for Greater Manchester's Economic Development Organisation at The Growth Company. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at Tech City UK, ClearlySo (an impact investment bank), Zulu Beauty (a beauty website curator), and LoveLula.com (an online beauty store). Claire started their career as a Consultant at Barclays UK and worked as a Project Accounting Manager at ERM.
Claire Lewis holds an MA (Oxon) degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they became a Fellow Chartered Accountant after completing their qualification with Arthur Andersen through the ICAEW.
