Alexus Ka'iulani Dudoit has six years of work experience. In 2016, they began working as a Seasonal Bookseller at Barnes and Noble, where they provided customer service, used a point of sale system, and stocked and organized merchandise. In 2018, they interned at the American Society of International Law, where they compiled and organized data into Excel spreadsheets, researched and compiled data on specific fields of law, and communicated with ASIL members and government officials via email. In 2019, they worked as a Seasonal Brand Representative at Banana Republic, assisting customers, restocking and inventorying merchandise, and preparing items for pick-up. In 2020, they were a Corp Member for Organizing Corps 2020, a DNC-sponsored effort in coordination with the Arizona Democratic Party, where they received training during a 7-day Bootcamp and participated in workshops and simulations on the fundamentals of organizing. Alexus Ka'iulani also worked as a Field Organizer for the Arizona Democratic Party, where they organized communities, recruited and managed part of the largest volunteer team in Arizona history, motivated and inspired volunteers, identified and trained volunteer leaders, and recorded resulting data. Currently, they are a Researcher for BallotReady and an Operations Coordinator for the Pima County Democratic Party.
Alexus Ka'iulani Dudoit began their educational journey in 2015 when they enrolled at the University of Arizona to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Political Science: International Relations. Alexus Ka'iulani completed their Bachelor's degree in 2018 and then participated in the Washington Semester Program at American University, where they focused on Foreign Policy. In 2019, they returned to the University of Arizona to pursue a Master's degree in International Security Studies and Foreign Policy. In 2021, they also enrolled in Change the Game's Data Academy. As of 2022, they are still pursuing their Master's degree.
